In this party-specific project,
the quintet with the unruly artistic past performs using a drum-automaton as a beat box and synth-like tuned
engines. Combining its robots with standard instruments and tortured sound objects, TRI lays a tight original
repertoire against a backdrop of unstoppable beats crafted from electricity, springs and ingenuity to produce
a late-night party sound that’s singular to say the least. All this and more from a group that specializes in building
play theatrical playgrounds and producing DIY gizmos of every description with a view to generating creative
spaces where it’s fun to hang out.
