Mother interrupts Little Red Riding Hood as she plays happily, and gives her a basket of food to deliver to Granny. Little Red Riding Hood reluctantly enters the dark woods. Walking through the trees, she notices butterflies and flowers, and her initial fear disappears. Wolf sees her. He hides behind a tree and spies on her movements. Little Red Riding Hood becomes more and more euphoric. She is in love with the forest, and she forgets where she was going in the first place. Wolf gives up on her, and visits Granny for tea and gossip.
