At thirty-seven years old, David (Marc Paquet) has made a success of his life. From a wealthy background, he is a recognized architect in love with a beautiful woman (Sylvie de Morais ) who has just given him a healthy first child. No, really, David is quite content with his life. But this wonderful image shatters when he learns his father (Marc Béland) is not his biological father. Thus begins a perilous quest as he attempts to find out the truth behind his birth and the identity of his father. But the more he searches, the more he uncovers, despite himself, the secrets of his mother (Élise Guilbault). What David believed to be his identity, his very being, no longer holds. But the greatest danger, the one that David ignores, is that discovering the truth maybe too heavy for one man to carry without serious consequences.
