For some, life on the street is an end in itself; for others, it is the end. Serving as a bulwark against the solitude in which they flounder, even within busy city centres, some find solace in loving their dogs. As the single source of friendship, presence and warmth for the seven homeless persons encountered by award-winning documentary filmmaker Hélène Choquette, these animal companions become their reason for living, providing the impetus to confront threatening tomorrows....
