An exploration of experimental and multidisciplinary forms of cinema
QUéBEC/CANADA | 120 minutes | 2015
A call to the community of Concordia University alumni and current students was launched in search of short silent films that would occupy the courtyard wall of the FOFA gallery during the Festival du nouveau cinéma. It is on the theme “Hidden Layers of the City” that we have thus built an intriguing program, filled with textures, poetry and delicately revealed secrets. The films are presented in a loop, as an installation in which are incorporated like a live soundtrack the sounds of the city.THE LANDLORD IS DEAD Mathieu GuimondLA VILLE HORS DES SENTIERS BATTUS Sébastien RiouxSQUARE VIGER Jean-François Boisvenue, Martin Gendron R.PDV SUR L’ASPHALTE DE TURCOT Matthew wolkowANOYO Lou-andréa FièreFEUX FOLLETs alix wagner-bernierNOW PLAYING IN BUCAREST robert Lawrence20-22 : 180S Thierry LoaSHOW ME GOD Mélisende Ebrahimi-ObleTHE BACKYARD Alisi TelengutHONG KONG-UPSIDE DOWN serge Maheu1 2 3 4 Pawel StasiewiczKUNSTKABINET Oksana KarpovychTONDO Jérémie Van QuynhMéCANIQUE UNIVERSELLE Caroline BlaisPLACE/PLACES Colette Campbell-MoscropMONITOR/NIGHT VIEW de Pirooz NematiFARINE SILENT Raphaël SandlerIn collaboration with:Université ConcordiaFaculty of Fine Arts (FOFA)
